Welcome to Yellow Wood Guiding, owned and operated by Jared Gricoskie.

Yellow Wood Guiding is my living dream. I was inspired at a young age by great wildlife programs like Marty Stouffer's Wild America, and a large backyard to explore in central Pennsylvania.   I have been a professional naturalist since I graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Environmental Interpretation in 2002. After working as a naturalist across the country I settled in the Colorado Front Range to place my guiding business in a location that I love, Rocky Mountain National Park.                             

In 2008, Yellow Wood Guiding is in its second successful year offering guided tours in the park. I will also be leading two seminars for the Rocky Mountain Nature Association, and will also be presenting at the 2008 Photographic Society of America's National Convention.

The business's name is derived from Robert Frost's The Road Less Traveled in honor of all those that go out to explore the world, and bring it to the people.

Yellow Wood Guiding is Authorized by the National Park Service, Department of Interior to conduct services in Rocky Mountain National Park.
